"Dear Caring Heart staff,
In August of 2007, it became clear that my grandmother needed full-time care. As I was located in Virginia and she was in California, I was quite worried about finding a caring, attentive, and responsible company that could meet her needs. I was referred to Caring Heart by neighbors of my grandmother and called immediately. I was so impressed in Nathan and his staff. They met with me the next day and discussed everything I needed. They even thought of things that I had not and came in immediately and took charge.
The staff that cared for her was very attentive to her needs and incredibly helpful to me knowing that I had to fly back to Virginia, and trust that things were going well. What impressed me perhaps the most was that my grandmother liked her caregivers well, since initially, she was not happy with the idea of needing help, let alone knowing that someone would be living in her house full-time! Once in Virginia, I was kept informed of everything and Nathan would personally go to the emergency room, even at 3:00 am to be with my grandmother and make sure she was either admitted properly or returned home comfortably.
When the time came for my grandmother to pass on, Nathan and his staff were also very helpful in assisting me with the final arrangements and cleaning/disposal of the things in her home that I did not want to keep. I was incredibly pleased with all the professionalism, caring, and help that I received from Caring Heart and would highly recommend this agency to anyone!!!
